The Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort is proud to be hosting Australian Schools Rugby Union (ASRU) as they compete in the National Championship on the Sunshine Coast in July. The Australian Schools Rugby Championship showcases the country’s best senior school rugby talent and is the pinnacle of schoolboy & schoolgirl rugby in Australia.

 

The championships have been a platform for young athletes to showcase their skills with many participates achieving significant success in rugby union in both Super Rugby, Super W and at an international level.

 

The resort will see 340 of the country’s best athletes using Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort as their ‘home away from home’ over the tournament dates.

 

The Novotel Sunshine Coast is partnering with ASRU to host the second day of the girl’s tournament on-site at our multi-purpose sports complex. The day will see six teams from Open Girls 7s and U16s Girls 7s compete from 10am which will determine the draw for the finals series which commences on Friday at the Sunshine Coast Stadium.

 

The Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort welcomes all parents, supporters, spectators and in house guests to enjoy the great game of Rugby Union on the 4^th of July.

 

Gates will open at 9am with free entry.
